Description: This listing is for one breeding pair from my reserve sapphire breeding line. The male and female are unrelated and have already successfully spawned once and raised there fry very well. These fish are from hand selected breeding stock to develop intense blues and shimmer in there fins. Un like most polar blue that have some black in the fins or have boring grey with just a touch of blue, these are electric blue translucent fins. All of my breeders are carefully selected from each batchand only the best are selected. These fish are 5th generation parent raised fish so they display excellent care when tending to there fry and rarely loose a single one. The parents will collect flake food and break it up for the fry and can be seen guiding the fry around the tank to forage. The polar parrot cichlids aggression only comes out when they feel threatened, bullied, or stressed. Otherwise, the polar parrots are relatively peaceful; you will often find them getting along with their compatible tank mates, especially if you put them in a polar parrot cichlid-only tank. The aggression is also often directed towards smaller fish than bigger fish. This means that if you have bigger fish that can bully and eat the polar blue parrots, then rest assured that the smaller parrots will soon turn into snacks. Like other aggressive fish, they will swim about quickly, knocking over any loose objects, from rocks to decorations and equipment.
