Polished 4140 knurled knobs and trim rings with 1/4-28 set screws to securely hold 1" dies in place. No need for for allen wrenches to change dies. 1/4-28 set screws are used to give a solid, machine thread fit to eliminate wobble or any loose feel you get with coarse thread set screws you get on cheap handles. This isn't a dainty or fragile tool, i settled on this design after years of wanting a better, solid threading die handle and this is the result, and what I use in my shop practically every day. I build these to last a lifetime, and hand down to the next generation and look good doing it.
