These are manufactured by Kyocera SGS that took the place of the Kyocera Microtools Titan-AX series (T0625O140ER). The tools are on a reinforced 1/4" shank, have a length flute of (.140") and a small radius on the end for strength. The tools are AX coated to add tool life. This endmill is necked back to give a longer .312" reach. This new design by Kyocera has proven to be the best endmills I've seen when cutting stainless steel, steel, titanium, cobalt chrome, and copper alloys.
