Description: Amazing 12” diameter Celestial Globe by C.S. Hammond & Co. This is an original example in excellent condition. The base is a dark wood. It’s been dusted and lightly waxed, otherwise the globe is untouched and in time-warp excellent condition. You will be hard pressed to find a better example. The style is clearly Art Deco with speed lines in the uprights that are slightly curved at the foot. The font is bold, classic and of the era. We’ve sold hundreds of globes and seen thousands, but we’ve never seen this example this condition. Please review the images and ask any questions you have prior to bidding.
