Description: Listing some of my extra 1:24 scale Nascar Racing Champions. I'm a long time OG collector from 1991-2001 and had over 1240 different 1/24th scale R/C clear window cars at one time. Sold off most of them in 2010 to fund a "real" car restoration. Saved about 200 of my favorites and recently got the bug again to rebuild my collection (mainly from 1991-1993). So I was/am big into variations as R/C had a lot of them that weren't listed in any price guide back in the day (DCD and Beckett). So I'll try to list any important differences in these extras........... This Car: 1993 has many short run paint schemes as R/C was in a transition year. This is the rarest version of the #6 Valvoline car driven by Mark Martin and is super hard to find. This one has the early release, small Valvoline (like the 92 car),NO fender group and curved Goodyear on the fender. The later more common 93 has the LARGE Valvoline on the 1/4 panel. This is NOT the same as the common 1992 car! That car has straight Goodyear and the goofy looking number. I'm also into the wheels out 1991 chassis vs. the 1992 and later wheels in chassis variations. There are 2 different fender sticker groups: The early style on the first 8 cars made had the Gatorade logo in the middle (all cars with R/C on the tires). The later 1991 sticker group has no Gatorade (R/C tires then Goodyear tires came out mid 91). Then the true 92's came out with the wheels flush with the body (and all had white goodyears). Then the first painted "tampo" group was in late 1992/early 1993, starting with the large 16 logo version, then the 93 small 16 logo version, then the 93 12 tampo version with the red True Value logo in the top left. So I'll describe those too when important. Last is the different style variation Goodyears on the front fender.
