Description: A stunning example of the quality of designs and execution of both the Thomas Strahan company and the 18th century Chinese artists who created the original document this design comes from. As is true of all great design, this has a timeless quality and looks as new and contemporary today as it did when it was first created over 200 years ago. The delicate floral is effectively contrasted against the ebony background and together the yin and yang elements foster a harmonious and perfectly balanced environment. The overall effect is a subtle elegance that simultaneously conveys a relaxing, comfortable ambience. Although it varies by number of doors and windows and pattern match, it takes, on AVERAGE, 10 rolls to paper the walls in an 8 x 10 room with 8 ft. high ceilings. The same room with 10 ft. high ceilings would need 12 rolls. To paper the walls of an average 10 x 14 room with 8 ft. ceilings you will need, in general, a minimum of 14 rolls. If you have 10 ft. ceilings and a 16 x 20 room, you will likely need a minimum of 26 rolls. You should use an on-line wallpaper calculator to determine your exact needs. There are several available. I always like to add a roll or two so I have extra just in case I cut a piece incorrectly or for things like lining drawers or shelves, or even papering a closet to match the room.
