The speed is 15 IPS.The 5 frequencies of the tape are 1 kHz, 10 kHz, 16 kHz, 100 Hz & 50 Hz This tape will be at +3db (250 nWb/m), but this can be changed to anything you want, Please specify whether you want NAB or IEC1 equalization.Alignment tapes, aka calibration or reference tapes, are required to properly set play back on any given tape deck. The alignment tape contains various signals, and array of frequencies, that let the operator setup a tape deck for playback prior to record alignment.
