Description: This is a 14-inch A. Marquis Reproduction French Doll head that has been married to a French Fashion doll composition and wooden body. The body has been left in its priminative state for the buyer to decide whether to leave it as is or to paint it or whatever. There are very few bare spots on it, and most of it has been heavily covered with paint. She has blue fixed glass eyes and a curly blonde mohair wig that has wispy bangs pincurled on her brow with the sides pulled back into a becoming pony tail of tiny curls that blends over the back of her shoulders. Her faux fur hat with a smart little red bow is cocked fetchingly over her brow and pinned there with a "pearl" hat pin. ( watchout!) She wears a cranberry velveteen dress that is accented with white "fur" trimmings at the neckline, shoulders, cuff, peplum, and hemline. At her waistline is a daring little bow with a rose: so very French! And do not forget that little skimmer of a hat! So very French once more! Ooo-la-la!!
