Description: 14K Gold Zippo Lighter. 14K gold case is monogrammed "Joan" Mid Century Vintage. This lighter has been in my family during its entire existence. It belonged to my mother and was a gift to her when new, in the late 1950s. It is monogrammed with her name: Joan. The lighter has not been used since the 1980s although carefully stored. Some scratches consistent with age and use. Provenance - one owner only, owned by my family member since its manufacture. Case is marked "Zippo" and "14K." Interior is functional although there is currently no flint or lighter fluid. Weight of case is 31 grams of 14K gold. Compare to identical models selling for $2500 - $5800.
