Description: This is a diecast Gulfair A340-300. It is a special livery that was on the actual aircraft between 2000-2005(?). It has been kept dry, and in a smoke-free environment and has rarely been out of its package since I have owned it. I believe it is a Herpa model but cannot be sure due to the fact that there are absolutely no manufacturers labels on the box. As far as I can tell, there are no scratches, marks, or blemishes on the finish, but as I have rarely taken it out of its package, I CANNOT GUARANTEE that the model is in "new" condition. History: A derivative of the A330, the Airbus A340 is a beautiful aircraft plagued from the start with bad luck, that started from the building of the aircraft, engine shortfalls and delays, to finding buyers in a market saturated with fierce competition, even from the company's own lineup. Although the aircraft in real life had many positives, it also had many shortfalls, and fewer than anticipated airlines bought the aircraft and there a very few flying these days, having been outclassed by other aircraft such as the Boeing 777, or the Airbus A330 or A380, making these models interesting pieces for any collection or model airport.Due to possible future moving issues, I will NOT BE ACCEPTING RETURNS.
