Description: 1554 AD Medieval Hungary, Silver Denar of Ferdinand, Madonna and Child Silver Coin 15mm .43g Found this coin encased in an old glass necklace. I looked it up all over the internet and believe the one I'm selling is the one that I have pictured from a site called Ancient Resource.They list it as 1526-1564AD (but you can see the date as 1554)Madonna seated holding baby Jesus on one side with a B and on the other a coat of arms. Ferdinand D G R VNG The coat of arms side is in decent condition , the Madonna side worn from thousands of years in circulation.I'm not a collector but if I were I would keep this as it's very rare and ancient history So the main pic is the one taken from the site and the other pics are the actual coin .Sold as is
