Complete in all respects, including final colophon leaf. [21 of 22], 437, [1 of 2], 438 - 532; [1], 137, [10] leaves. Woodcut titles, double column, black letter, woodcut illustrations and maps. Full rebind in dark brown leather, five raised bands, gilt title on red leather spine label, spine elaborately gilt, boards blind-stamped, red edges. OT: Short tears (some with old repairs) to leaves 421, 422, Leaves 423, 424, 432-437 re-margined with lost text added in manuscript (in black letter script), some minimal loss of a few letters and words, Apocrypha title page (Eeee1) laid down, Leaf 428 dirt-stained. NT: Leaf 30 the only facsimile in the entire volume, expertly done to match. Leaves 62, 63, 89, 122 and 123 repairs to bottom margin with lost text added in manuscript (in black letter script), some minimal loss of a few letters and words, Leaf 84 large piece repaired in bottom corner, with lost text added in manuscript â€“ but only on the verso. Provenance: Late 16th or 17th century ownership entry at head of title 'A Croke his Book'.
