A handful of leaves with small defects or blemishes else a very nice copy, complete with both title pages. ESTC & D&M state that there should be a 1614 general title and a 1615 New Testament title page along with a colophon dated 1615. In this copy both title pages are 1614 and the colophon is dated 1615. Text in gothic black letter in double columns. Part of 'The Genealogies' present, bound in front of the Bible. Some very early MS family history of the Spurgeon family through much of the book. The name "Thomas Spurgeon" appears the most frequently, especially in the Psalms in the back of the volume. Well worth doing additional research . Many Spurgeon Names Bound together with: "Two right profitable and fruitfull concordances, or large and ample tables alphabeticall. The first containing the interpretation of the Hebrew, Caldean, Greek, and Latine words, and names scatteringly dispersed throughout the whole Bible, with their common places following every of them.
