Description: Original antique 1718 leatherbound copy of Addison's "Remarks on Several Parts of Italy, &c. In the Years 1701, 1702, 1703." The book is overall in very good antiquarian condition with some signs of wear and age. The covers have some mild wear. The binding is good and sound. The front fep is no longer present and there are some large period inked initials to the back fep. The interior is toned from age with some foxing, soiling & grubbiness. Along with that there may be the occasional page with some kind of other typical imperfection such as a small chip or tear, creased page corner, minor marking, etc. The book measures approximately 6 5/8 inches by 4 inches and is 410 pages long with an index at the rear.
