This old plate may have some minor blemishes. It's amazing that the colors have remained so bright after all these years! Provenance: This is from a collection of 50 hand colored prints from a German Natural History book - album titled "Kupfer-Sammlung besonders zu F. P. Wilmsen's Handbuch der Naturgeschichte" (Manual of Natural History for the Youth and their Teachers). With an Introduction by Dr. H. Lichtenstein and Dr. F. Klug, directors of zoological museums.
