"Phoenix" was found near town on private property at one of the October 1856 Tong Battles Sites. Substantial Patina covers the Wrought Iron Phoenix Incense Burner which clearly Demonstrates its Age and Antiquity. You can still see some of the Gold Gilt. This Incense Burner would have been a prized possession and a valued item to a community of poor Chinese miners who always lived in groups. This creates more questions than answers.
