Description: Offered for sale is this lovely example of a scarce coin, the 1842 Seated Liberty dollar, from my personal collection. This coin is very well struck, with fine detail present on the shield and feathers and Liberty's clothes. There is a very slight indentation in the rim and reeded edge, located below the L and period on the reverse, as well as some foreign accumulation in the dentils around the eagle's left wing tip. Factoring in these features and the overall detail, I would assess it in the Extremely Fine Details range. All sales are necessarily final. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
