This is from an enlarged edition with no centerfold, making it great for framing. It is from a circa 1849 Stieler's Hand Atlas, published in Gotha by Justus Perthes, a copy of the title page is included. Stieler's Hand Atlas appears in the top right margin. The map is not mounted, matted nor framed being sold as a single map as seen in the first pic. Size: The map area measures approximately 12 1/2 by 15 inches (32x38cm) on a 14 by 17 1/2" page (37x45cm) Condition: Good condition, blank on reverse, embossed plate marks in margins, printed on heavy cotton paper with strong original hand color outlining as issued. There is a hint of a dampstain in the bottom margin and a couple of minor handling smudges in the margins, otherwise it is very clean with strong original hand coloring with a nice antique appearance that would frame up well, see the pics.
