Covers and spine have some age-related toning and wear. There are tears along the edges of the spine and covers, and the corners of covers are bent inwards. Some pencil and pen inscriptions at the beginning of the volume from a previous owner. Ex-library with a library image on the front page and a sticker on the back inside cover from a Mr. Joseph P Black. Pages have age-related toning and foxing. Hinges are loose throughout the volume and at both front and back cover boards. Illustrations have toning but are clear to see. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. Charles Heath was a British engraver and currency stamper. He was a fellow for the Society of British Artists.
