Similar to Money& Banking in Maryland 30.5.3 but with engraving faults, in this case 'UMBERLAND S" and 'pay FIVE DO' at bottom right, etc. Very unusual. Any note, genuine or counterfeit or trial, from this bank is very scarce. This bank, opened in 1850, became the Cumberland City Bank in 1858.From a recent estate sale along with other similar notes housed in a vintage 1860's paper wallet (see photo).
