It is from Addison Richards, American Scenery Illustrated, (New York: Leavitt and Allen, 1854). A facsimile copy of the title page is included for authenticity. It is being sold as a single sheet and is not mounted, matted or framed, basically as seen in the pic. In general, these prints represent the Romantic view that was current in the 19th century often including small figures for scale and emphasizing the sublime and grandeur of nature. Overall, a rare print with some very fine engraved line work and a beautiful design that would frame up beautifully! Size: The image area measures approximately 4 1/2 by 7 inches on a 7 1/2 by 9 1/2 page with a large margin all around as seen in the pic. Condition: The print is in Very Good to Excellent condition for its age, printed on heavy paper. It is basically as seen in the pic. Other than a couple of very minor specks, it is very clean and would frame up nicely. The pics are of the actual print. Payment Details: We accept most major credit cards through Paypal and Ebay.
