Interior binding split, with photo holders detached. Loss of clasps on spine. Inscribed at front, featuring an inscription from 1864. Some names listed at bottom of empty photograph spots. General age-related toning, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce piece, with inscriptions on front indicating that it was gifted by three Union privates at Lovell General Hospital in Massachusetts on Christmas Day, 1864, which at the time was a military hospital treating injured Civil War Soldiers.
