The intricate ceramic and porcelain design features George and Martha Washington in a pictorial pattern, with a glossy finish and gold trim. The set includes one pitcher and basin, the pitcher is 12 inches tall, As well a vintage year of manufacture in 1868. The set is perfect for all occasions, and is an original piece from an unknown brand. I've looked everywhere and cannot seem to fond out who actually made these peices. Theyre a great addition to any dinnerware and serveware collection, and is sure to impress any guest with its unique historical design. The set was manufactured in the United States during the late 1850s and early 1890s, and is a true piece of American history. This set was very well used at some point and time does show signs of wear. All photos show any imperfections chips and blemishes. Please refer to photos for details. The bowl basin has tiny fracture cracks through the surface as can also be show in photos. Please review all of them for an accurate idea of the condition of this item. On the pitcher there is a chip in the front, also pictured. This set is pretty heavy as it's completely porcelain, and after all this time I consider the condition pretty good.
