It is from Mitchell's School Geographies: Elements of Physical Geography, (Philadelphia: Butler & Co., 1868), a copy of the title page is included for authenticity. It was drawn and engraved by J.M. Atwood, Philadelphia as stated in the bottom right margin. It is being sold as a single map, not matted or framed, photographed against a dark background, see the pics for more on condition. Size: The map image measures approximately 8 1/4 by 10 1/2" (21x27cm) on a 9 1/2 by 12" (24x30cm) page Condition: The map is in Good condition for its age with light tonal ageing, text on the reverse and original hand coloring. There is light edge wear, a dampstain on the bottom left corner and darkening around the edges, otherwise it is very clean and would frame up well, see the pics for more on condition.
