Description: 1872 F/VF Indian Head Cent - Better Date MY COMMENTS: THE GOOD NEWS: Nice Original Better Date Mid-Grade Coin. Much better than many FINE coins, but maybe a hair shy of an VF grade. Some will still call this coin VF. Nice Chocolate Brown Color, Nice LIBERTY. Very bold rims, Full Date, Nice Feather detail is showing, and lots of detail in the leaves on the reverse. Please bid with confidence because I stand behind what I sell. THE BAD NEWS: Not really bad, but there is a small rim ding at the top of the obverse. Sometimes things like this can be expected because these coins were used as real money long ago. Most coins have flaws, it's just a matter of what is acceptable for the grade.
