Description: Beautiful, never used or washed, late Victorian quilt top. With colorful, and a few unusual, fabrics, it's hand pieced, and measures 96" x 81". The predominant pattern is a reddish print, though it's showing to be a little on the orange side in these pics. Patterns include a cat (with a mouse), dog, anchors, and other florals and abstracts. There are some 1880's shiny chintz examples, a blue and white bandana type.There are two small patches each of the dog and the cat patterns. These pieces have white grounds, and have some foxing, or light spots.There might be a few other light spots here and there.One patch in one corner is damaged, there is another patch in another corner that has some damage along one edge.I have pictured these in the last two photos. 1880's and 90's.
