Publisher's advertisements to the rear dated August 1889 as per the second state. CONDITION In the original full blue cloth binding. Externally, smart ith light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Minor fading to the spine and the odd small mark to the boards. Front hinge starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting to the extremities. Previous owner's ink stamp to the front endpaper and pastedown.
