The full weight of this coin is 7.98 g. The AGW is 7.322. The initials JEB on the Queen‘s shoulder stand for Joseph Edgar Boehm the designer of this coins obverse. The reverse shows the famous St. George on horseback armed with a sword and slaying a dragon under foot. The date (1889) below, and small initials (B.P.) for the engraver Benedetto Pistrucci. A tiny “S” above the date indicates it was mentted at the Royal Mint in Sydney.
