1890s SCARCE FROSTED QUEEN HEART TALL STAND LAMP WITH GREEN BASE FINDLAY,OHIO

Description: This is a fairly scarce original frosted Queen Heart or "Sweetheart" antique oil lamp from the 1890s with its original brass Riverside Clinch On collar....... An example of this Queen Heart lamp is pictured on page 251 of Thuro's book #1 on Oil Lamps and again on page 233 in a color photograph. It was made by the Dalzell, Gilmore & Leighton Glass Co of Findlay,Ohio.This beautiful lamp has 6 frosted beaded hearts around the clear glass font ....3 upside down beaded hearts around hollow stem and 6 beaded half circles around green glass base.......9 1/2"tall to collar (18 1/2"with burner and chimney).....Excellent shiny nice condition with only a couple small shallow chips on very bottom edge of green glass base; No other damage. A nice clean lamp with no haze....The original Riverside Clinch On brass collar is in good condition but must be bent slightly because I couldnt get a burner to screw into it right....Nevertheless, this is a great looking 1890s original lamp......
