Description: This is SG259 - Queensland 1897 1d Vermilion side-face (4 numbers) stamp in a block of 6 stamps. The stamps have both plain zig zag roulette and Perf 12.5 all round. 2nd Crown/Q (W6) watermarked paper. CV ~ $120The block is in fine front condition, with strong colour, acceptable centring and good duplicate zig zag/perforations, as per first scan. Four stamps are in mint, very light hinged condition, and the centre two stamps are unhinged.The back of the block is as per the second scan. Very clean, smooth/glossy gum with traces of hinge removal at top and bottom of the block, no other faults.
