It is designer hallmarked with letter M in a circle (see picture). It is circa 1970s. I promise you you are looking at a highest grade of ruby and super diamonds. There is a gorgeous genuine modified heart shape ruby set in the center 6.1mm x 5.4mm, it is estimated to be .80 carat. The color is fantastic pigeon blood red and the brilliance is simply neon electric. Virtually clean gem too. Most likely Burmese ruby per my gemologist. The diamonds are super quality, near colorless GH, clarity VS-1-2 or better. They are baguette cuts. Total diamond weight is estimated to be 1.2 carats. Incredible brilliance, so bright and blingy! The mounting is pretty spectacular too, set in the elaborate wave pattern very expensive and time consuming to make!! The ring weighs hefty 8.3 grams, extremely well made. Size 7 finger (easily sizable). The presentation measures 14.58mm x 17mm and is raised 8.55mm high. Excellent condition.
