Description: This blank was machined by Reinhart Fajen many, many years ago from a tree cut in Arkansas, and made into boards at a local sawmill. Several of these were finished and remain in the family. This is of course a semi-finished blank (not a drop in) and will require more than amatuer talent to complete to the final finish stage. Then it will make a light colored beautiful stock superior in quality (and ease of working) to the maple it resembles. For someone who wants a completely unique and unusual stock. Finished stock in last photo is from a family rifle and shown only as an example of how this wood will look when done. It absolutely will not be included in the sale for the unfinished blank.
