Description: Found at a local estate of a well known antique collector, here is a rare piece of Unger Bros sterling silver which dates back to 1904. It is an Art Nouveau pattern called Love's Dream. This pattern depicts Eros (Cupid) kissing Psyche. This is a very ornate vanity beveled hand mirror with a long handle. I have the other style of hand mirror with the small open handle running in another listing. Measures 9 1/8" long and 4 3/4" wide. There are some dents on the silver portion sides of the mirror. The beveled mirror in is very good condition, one circular area that shows the age (see pic) and some areas of slight cloudiness but for the age its very nice and usable. So very art nouveau with all the detailed scrolling and note the dolphins beneath the main scene of Eros and Psyche! SEE THE CLOSE UP PICS.
