Description: I have for sale a souvenir item from the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair, aka Louisiana Purchase Exposition, that was held in St. Louis, Missouri. When original, this container/box contained five medals from the fair. This souvenir is listed in the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair catalog by Robert Hendershott as 30-570. It is thin gilded metal, probably copper or brass, it is 1 1/2 inch in diameter, 1/2 inch in height and its in lightly circulated condition. The makers name is on the bottom Schwaab Stamp & Seal Co. Milwaukee. On the top, in the center, it shows the Louisiana Purchase Monument with the year 1904 below. At the rim it reads WORLDS FAIR - ST. LOUIS.
