Description: 1905 photo lovely woman (Billie Burke?) w cloche , fur & purse, full-length, mat This is a lovely, well-composed portrait of a beautiful young woman, very fashionably dressed. While looking it over, I was struck by how much she resembles Billie Burke, actress who played Glinda the Good Witch in the Wizard of Oz. There is no ID and no photgraphers mark. The photo is mounted not on a card but on paper about the same weight as construction paper. The photo itself has a matte finish. Fading to image. Yellowing to image. Soiling to matting paper. Light wear to lower two corners of photo. Matt paper measures 10 x 4.875 inches. Photo measures 7 x 2.625 inches. My mother was a photographer who collected antique photos of all types for years.
