Externally, generally smart but with slight bumping to extremities, fading and marks to spines and a stain to front of volume one. Internally, firmly bound. Bright with the odd spot and handling mark, mostly to front and rear. Some loss to bookplates and evidence of other previous bookplates to endpapers and previous owner's ink stamp to front pastedown of volume two.
