The automobile in which Mrs. Fisher was a passenger was struck with such force that it turned turtle and pinned her beneath the wreckage. One of the lamps of the auto exploded, and but for the timely arrival of a party of rescuers in another auto, Mrs. Fisher would have burned to death as the flames were just licking at the hem of her skirt when she was pulled from under the wreck. Before her marriage, Mrs. Fisher was Miss Pauline Welch, a footlight favorite. Photo measures 6.75 x 8.5 inches. Photo Is dated 1914.
