Description: antique circa 1915 - 1925 Weller American Art pottery console bowl and flower frog with two figural nude maidens. Great matte aqua green colored glaze and a well articulated form with two pretty demure maidens. This is the Hobart line specifically. Rudolph Lorber designed this line for Weller as early as 1915. It continues to be a very popular line for collectors and it is quite scarce. This example is unmarked. CONDITION: Very good exhibits uniform grazing. This has some rust mineral deposits in bowl that could likely be completely removed or carefully minimized and a few small chips and flea bite on the edge of the bowls. A few small chips on the flower frog. One maiden has chipping on her face. Please view last few pictures where I zoomed in on main flaws. This is a antique item (over 100 years old) and, as such, may show signs of age and wear, such as marks/scratches, fading, discoloration, spots, and/or yellowing. Please look carefully at all the pictures included in this listing. Zoom if necessary to get a better look at the condition. They are an essential part of the item's description.
