1920’S ART DECO CELLULOID PAVE RHINESTONE HAIR ORNAMENT COMB

Description: ITEM DESCRIPTION:Earlier this year, I bought a large collection of antique hair combs and ornament that belonged to a life long “known” collector. Many of her combs are on internet reference sights and books as well. This is one of several that I will be offering on ebay. This beautiful French 1920’s celluloid comb is quite spectacular in it’s colorful design. It is 5” long x 2 3/4” wide and is made from faux tortoise celluloid. The flared top is intricately painted and embedded with both green and royal blue faceted rhinestones. The celluloid is quite flexible and shows no signs of degradation which is often seen in these pieces. It is in very good condition. ***Please note that my camera is cobalt blue and often makes polished surfaces look dark due to the reflection on the metal surface.*** SHIPPING:First class shipping, insurance, and handling in the US is $6. I am happy to ship multiple auction wins in the same package at the actual cost plus insurance. International shipping is through ebay’s global shipping program. I try my best to wrap all items securely, and to ship in a timely fashion. Once the item is wrapped, a shipping label is created, and the tracking number is provided on ebay. I personally have my packages scanned by the post office before they obtain possession.
