Limited Edition #7 of 100 copies. The binding measures: 27.5cm x 18.7cm. Pagination: [6], 7-85, [2]pp. Numerous colour vignettes throughout. Text in French.** Note on the date of the book. To the verso of the half title is printed: December 1922. The colophon to the back stating 1923. Looking at auctions results it seems that the 1 in 100 limited editions where dated 1923 with the large limitation copies dating 1923. An example can be seen in 2015 auction house ALDE sold a copy for 3782 euros [there copy specially bound and signed] Scarce 1 of 100 copies printed in Velin, in the original paper binding Condition: See photos as part of condition report: Bound with a glassine wrap covering the original covers [can't see any other copies with the glassine wrap, most probably a former owner added to protect the fragile binding.]. As stated bound in the original paper covers. In a very good condition, with light rubbing to the edges, The upper margin of the book ever so slightly darker than the rest. Collates as complete with all pages and the frontis + 16 plates as called for. [blanks, limitation page, half title, frontis, title, 7-85, [2pp] and back endpaper. The binding remains firm, an embossed library stamp to the back endpaper. Text block secure, pages clean with light marks. A very good example of a fragile book.
