Description: This old-timer has been well preserved for decades while sitting on a desk for decades. I was told it was last used in the late 1960s, and by judging by the amount of dust I had to remove from it, I believe it. As you can see, it cleaned up nicely to reveal an absolutely gorgeous writing machine. There are no dings, dents or cracks in the iron case and the graphics are beautiful. You will need to do a thorough cleaning if you want to use this since the keys do stick. However, all the other functions seem to work. I believe the serial number dates this to 1924. It will be expensive to ship. This weighs a few ounces under 40 pounds - and that's without the box and packing materials. Those of you who follow my auctions know that I have extensive practice in shipping antique writers. I pack these beauties up as if I were sending them to myself. So you need not worry about receiving a broken machine.
