Description: I have for sale a pin back Tally Clerk badge from the 1924 Republican National convention that was held in Clevland, Ohio and where Calvin Coolidge was nominated for President and did win the election & became our 30th President. The badge has four parts. The top pin back bar is gilded metal that is 1 3/4 inches wide and shows an eagle perched on a shield. Under the top piece it reads TALLY CLERK. The bottom piece is also gilded metal, 1 3/8 inches in diameter, see photos. The bottom piece in the center shows the Capitol dome and reads CLEVELAND OHIO 1924. Around the rim on blue enamel it reads REPUBLICAN NATIONAL - CONVENTION. The ribbon is red, white & blue and approximately 5 inches long. This badge is very close to original condition and probably would grade as original, you be the judge. The badge was made by the Whitehead & Hoag company.
