1930's Hubley Cast iron Mini DO-X Flying Boat Airplane

Description: Offered for sale is a wonderful (and hard to find) example of a cast iron Model "DO X Flying Boat" mini airplane, based on the Dornier DO X aircraft and manufactured by Hubley in the 1930's. It measure about 3 1/2" long, with a 4 1/2" wingspan, and is complete, original, and in excellent condition. There are no breaks, cracks, or other damage, and no repairs; it retains most all of its original white and red finishes; and it still has its original wheels (often missing or replaced) and propellers (often broken). Please check the photos carefully (we recommend using the magnifying function) as they do a better job than we can of describing the piece.
