Description: 1930s vintage ZELL still bank ABC TOY CHEST teddy bear BABY'S TREASURE 1930's still bank is shaped like a toy chest with an embossed surface with an all over texture. The lid of the trunk features ABC baby blocks and a teddy bear. There is embossed strapping and locks on one side with the words "Baby's Treasure. The trunk's ends are reinforced with silver tone metal decoration. The applied metal even has "rivet patterning". Baby savings still bank measures 4 1/4" long 1 3/4" tall. Embossed in the surface material on the side of the treasure chest; "Patents Applied for U.S. & Foreign. Made in U.S.A.". Makers mark in the metal on the bottom of the bank; "PAT APPD FOR - U.S. & FOREIGN ZELL PRODUCTS CORP. NEW YORK, U.S.A." Zell ABC Toy Chest still bank's surface texture has acquired some discoloration. Surface has no scratches or tears. Metal parts are intact. There is no key. Please inspect photos.
