Authored/edited by Blanche Jennings Thompson, published by the Macmillan Company in 1932. It was first published in 1925, and the listing photo of the copyright page indicates other printings between the first and this version published in 1932. It contains poems by such luminaries as Edna St. Vincent Millet, Vachel Lindsay, Sara Teasdale, Walter De La Mere, Carl Sandburg, and others. Overall in VERY GOOD CONDITION, WITH RARE DUST JACKET. The dust jacket is worn with chips and chunks along the edge, darkened spine, wear where the spine meets the front and back covers. But the dust jacket remains attached and is now handsomely preserved in a mylar jacket. It has served its purpose to keep the book in very nice condition! Light to moderate wear along the edges and corners, black and silver titling and decoration front board and spine. Decorative orange endpapers, no interior marks of any kind in 138 clean and solidly bound pages with VERY NICE ILLUSTRATIONS BY WINIFRED BROMHALL. Found in the book was a period bookmark in nice condition - it shows a little wear on top edge which was slightly extended outside the book when found.
