The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Research Industry 1833 1933 and the reverse text is A Century of Progress International Exposition Chicago 1933. The front side of the coin shows a man in the center with arms stretched out and legs spread, two vertical words on either side of his body and a ribbon crossing his crotch area. The backside of the coin depicts a map from above of the Chicago fair location and text surrounding on the outer border of the coin.
