Description: This week I'm offering a number of old non-sport cards from various vintage sets. In the 1930's, the British C.T. Bridgewater cookie company issued a total of eight annual sets (most of them consisting of 48 cards) picturing popular movie stars, a mixture of British and American actors and actresses. The cards were small, glossy blank-backed photos and are highly collectible. They remain very popular with present-day collectors.This lot is from the fourth series, issued in 1935. The cards are a mixture of sepia-toned and "colorized," and measure 1 1/8" x 1 7/8". The lot includes 40 different cards out of the 48 in the set, and they're in very nice condition with no major flaws - see scans for condition. Really nice for cards that are eighty years old!
