Description: original 1935 21" x 27" window card for San Francisco's Fox Warfield Theater showing of Al Jolson and Ruby Keeler in Go Into Your Dance. Bottom corners were clipped and there is a crude, vintage repair present at each of those two corners (see image). Poster is on thick stock customary for window cards of the 1920's and 1930's. Minor water staining along bottom primarily visible from the rear; tack holes in corners. I can find no evidence that another copy of this poster exists - it's possible this is the only surviving example. I noted while researching this item that there exists a reproduction being peddled whose image includes the repaired bottom corners and light spot of border discoloration to the left of the 'Y' in "Your" - apparently their image is from a photograph of this very copy. I've had this original in storage for decades without (until creating this auction entry) ever photographing it, so the photograph of this copy from which their reproduction is being generated must have been shot prior to the 1990's when I obtained the original. The poster will ship rolled in a large and sturdy tube.
