This great reprint was published in 1935 by LONGMANS GREEN AND CO, London, as part of their Swan Library. A scarce edition. This is a fascinating science fiction novel, with pioneering socialist Morris exploring themes of utopian socialism, with Morris using the work to tackle the common criticisms of socialism and explore a number of aspects of Victorian society. Bound in illustrated paper covers with title lettering, title lettering on the spine, spine is creased. Tanning to the spine. Cover edges a little rubbed. Price of 1/6 on the back cover. Pages a little thumbed but generally, this book is in good condition, tightly bound with no loose or missing pages; 247pp 18cm x 13cm.
