This PROGRAM is INCREDIBLY SIGNIFICANT for a multitude of reasons: * 1939 was the great Tom Harmon's break-out season, who was definitely one of the two best CFB players that year, and who later went on to win the 1940 Heisman!!!! * Program features All-Americans: Tom Harmon (consensus) & Archie Kodros and future AAs like Edward Frutig, Forest Evashevski, Archie Kodros & Bob Westfal (UM) and Jim Reeder & Mel Brewer (IL) All pages are accounted for...key!!! The staples are securely holding all pages, including the cover & center. And there is no writing inside. I am looking for ticket stubs for 1963 & 1969 for this rivalry. if you can help, I assure you I will make it worth your time in a separate sale. The less than ideals are: The biggest flaw is the centerline fold/crease line. Otherwise, the cover shows normal surface/edge/spine/page turn/handling wear and corners are rounded as well. The inside pages are fantastic, again no writing, all pages accounted for, and they are all a vintage cream color. Backside shows similar wear as the cover.
